ANISA ARRA, B.Sc. (Hons.), J.D.
Anisa is a lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada. She graduated from York University summa cum laude with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology before attending law school at Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to establishing Arra Law Firm, Anisa worked at an insurance defence firm in downtown Toronto and a prominent personal injury firm in Yorkville. During law school, Anisa provided pro bono legal services alongside duty counsel at the Superior Court of Justice and worked at the law school as a professor's research assistant.
Presently, Anisa teaches the course Issues in Canadian Law at Humber College, Lakeshore Campus. Anisa is passionate about giving back to the community and has volunteered her time with various organizations, including the Ontario Justice Education Network (OJEN), Osgoode Alumni Mentor Program, Toronto Children's Aid Society, Pro Bono Students Canada, Daily Bread Food Bank, Ontario Bar Association, and Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade (WICC). In 2017, Anisa was invited to become a member of the WICC Gala Committee during which time she spearheaded the social media marketing campaign. Her fundraising efforts assisted in raising substantial funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. Arra Law Firm is a continuing donor for the Canadian Red Cross.
Anisa has co-founded the Albanian Canadian Lawyers Association (ACLA) and is currently serving on the board as President. She is also in the Events Committee for Young Women in Law. Anisa has authored and co-authored articles published in Canada Law Book, the Canadian Underwriter Magazine and Flame Quarterly Newsletter.
