ANISA ARRA, B.Sc. (Hons.), J.D.
Anisa is a lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. She graduated from York University summa cum laude with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology before attending law school at Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to establishing Arra Law Firm, Anisa had worked at an insurance defence firm in downtown Toronto and a prominent personal injury firm in Yorkville. During law school, Anisa provided pro bono legal services alongside duty counsel at the Superior Court of Justice and worked at the law school as a professor's research assistant.
In the fall of 2019, Anisa taught the course Issues in Canadian Law at Humber College, Lakeshore Campus as an adjunct professor. Anisa is passionate about giving back to the community and has volunteered her time with various organizations, including the Ontario Justice Education Network (OJEN), Osgoode Alumni Mentor Program, Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade, Toronto Children's Aid Society, Pro Bono Students Canada, Daily Bread Food Bank, Ontario Bar Association, and Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade (WICC). Presently, Anisa is a member of the SickKids Professional Advisor Network and St. Joseph's Planned Giving Advisory Council. Arra Law Firm is a permanent donor for the Canadian Red Cross.
In May 2019, Anisa co-founded the Albanian Canadian Lawyers Association (ACLA) and is currently serving on the board as President. Concurrently, she is a member of the Events Committee of Young Women in Law and the Young Advocates' Society Standing Committee of The Advocates' Society. Anisa has authored and co-authored articles published in Canada Law Book, Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Underwriter Magazine and Flame Quarterly Newsletter.
